Micheal Essien |
One of the greatest deeds on this earth that is worth a prosperous life is to share what you have with others especially- the poor and needy.
Over the years individuals, organizations and the rest have tried the possible best to assist the less privileged in the various localities in the country. It is indeed a good initiative to be taken by one, once in a life time.
Indeed I was so delighted when I heard that Black Star’s dynamo, Micheal Essien has received a royal boost from High Serene Prince Albert of Monaco toward his Charity foundation in the form 15 Mont Blanc watches worth US$ 24,300 dollars each.
Essien, just a month ago brought most of the celebrated football players across the continent to play in a charity match to raise funds for an orphanage home in Kasoa in the Central region of Ghana.
I believe that Essien's foundation will create a platform to restore hope and determination for the underprivileged ones in the country especially in Awutu, his hometown in the central region of Ghana.
As a matter of fact, the Chelsea midfielder, popular known as ‘the bull’ among his fans who also doubles as the Au ambassador of peace in Africa has shown that in life we must help others even with the least we have.
I suggest that the public should render any form of support in pursuing this dream.
Again I would like to use your medium to appeal to all the footballers not to only tread Essien’s course but also help in eradicating poverty in the country.
